Boston Town Secure Victory Over Bedworth United
It was an evenly contested opening between Bedworth United and Boston Town until the twenty-ninth minute, when Siddons broke the deadlock for the visitors, scoring from the edge of the box and putting the ball over the approaching Lomax as it went over his right-hand shoulder.
Bedworth immediately ramped up the pressure but found no way through, as Boston goalkeeper West stood firm. The game remained tightly fought until the sixty fourth minute when Bedworth conceded a second goal. Lim managed to put away a penalty to extend Boston’s lead, even though Lomax dived the correct way.
Despite a strong push from Bedworth to get back into the match, including a moment where an attacker rounded West only for a recovering defender to clear the ball onto the post, they couldn’t find the net.
It ended as a frustrating afternoon for Bedworth United, with the match finishing two-nil to Boston Town.
