Update on Pre-Season Friendlies

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 global crisis we are sadly going to have to postpone the following friendlies:

Sat July18th              AWAY       Ashby Ivanhoe FC                3pm KO

Tues July 21st            AWAY       Lichfield  FC                        7.45pm KO

Sat July 25th              AWAY       Coventry Sphinx FC             3pm KO

Tues July 28th            HOME       Nuneaton Borough FC        7.45pm KO

We have currently had no indication from either the Football Authority or the Southern League as to when football activities will be able to continue.   We hope to be able to rearrange in due course.

 

The current FA guidelines are:

Training may take place with a ratio of 5 players to 1 coach.

Multiple sessions can take place at one time so long as there is a clear definition between groups.

No small sided games allowed and no drills which include contact between players.

The first team have started training within these guidelines and will continue like this until we receive direction to the contrary.
