U18s Coaching Team Announced

The Coaching team for the u18s will be Robbie Brannan, Lee Walker and James Sanderson.

Robbie Brannan, U18’s Manager, had this to say, “It is a huge honour to be intrusted with taking on the role as the U18’s manager for next season. I have a huge passion for developing players and in my 15yrs of coaching I have been fortunate enough to work at some great clubs by coaching junior and youth football locally and also a year coaching in Canada. This will be my fourth season at the club where I have worked with the U16’s MJPL team and then I moved onto working with the U21’s and then the Reserves here at Bedworth United where we secured back-to-back league titles but more importantly saw no less than 7 players have an opportunity with the First Team. During my time coaching I have earnt by UEFA B License and will be looking to kick on and take my UEFA A License in 2024. Really excited to work closely with Academy Manager Jamie Lenton and my coaching team of Lee Walker and James Sanderson to help these young players realize their potential and progress onwards to the Reserves and First Team.”

Lee Walker will be taking on the role of Assistant Manager said, “Really proud to have represented Bedworth United and Hinckley United both at youth and senior level during my playing days. I am excited for the up coming season and working with the management teams and players to develop the future talent for Bedworth United.”
Coach James Sanderson is keen to pass on his knowledge and experience gain, “At 19 I have a long history with the club already and I can’t wait to progress my coaching career with the U18’s. During my time at the club, I recently tasted success with the U18’s where we won the league and cup so I have experience in this league and know how challenging it can be. Also, I have been part of the Academy setup here which has been hugely beneficial to me as a player. Just starting my coaching badges now so working with the team at this level will be a huge benefit for me. Really looking forward to working with the boys this season and helping them progress into the Reserves and First Team.”
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kev Burke for all his help and success with the Reserves this season. There will be an announcement over the next few weeks about his replacement and trial dates will be set.
