Recap

Bedworth travelled up the M6 to face Sporting Khalsa in one of only 2 games that were played in the division this weekend.

Bedworth started well playing at a high intensity not allowing Khalsa anytime on the ball and looking to get on the front foot as soon as they gained possession.  Bedworths back line kept Khalsa at bay for most of the half and when the home side did get the better of them Sam Lomax was on hand to pull of a couple of fine saves.  It was Bedworth though who had the best chance of the first half when a cross from Dunkley found Nesbitt free in the area but the Bedworth number 9 just failed to connect with the ball and the chance went begging.

The second half started with Khalsa on top but the visitors started to claw their way back into it and the half then developed the same pattern as the first with neither team managing to dominate the other both teams had half chances to open the scoring but both keepers and defenses were coming out on top.  Khalsa should have snatched a victory in the last minute when a cross found the dangerous Miracle Okafor free in the Bedworth six yard box but his header went straightt into Lomax hands.
