Soham Town Rangers v Bedworth United
The Greenbacks made one of their longest trips of the season to bottom of the league Soham looking to build on their away draw at Spalding the week before. Soham having been moved from the Isthman League in the reshuffle have found going difficult having lost their previous 5 games conceding 18 goals and only scoring 3. The Greenbacks started on the front foot with man of the match Reece Blackmore being compared to De Bryne by Sohams watching Directors for his play not just his hair. It took 11 minutes for the visitors to take the lead when Ryan Nesbitt opened the scoring to make it 2 from 2 since his signing from Sutton Coldfield. Ten minutes later that lead was doubled when Richard Blythe added a second, his forth goal of the season. Bedworth looked like they could o on and score a few more with the dangerous Eesa Sawyers and Rhys Hilton out wide either side terrorising the Southam back line causing the Soham Directors to again compare a Visiting player with a Man City player this time it was Eesa being called Sterling.

All credit to Soham they came out in the second half and for the first 20 minutes making the Visitors backline work. A number of corners and freekicks into the Bedworth box were dealt with well by the Bedworth back line defence with Sam Lomax making one really good save to prevent the home side from, Bedworth though raised their game back to the levels of the first half and after some good work from Sawyers, Nesbitt was on hand to add the third from close range with 15 minutes left to play. The visitors kept the pressure on the home side and with 7 left to go substitute Locket hit a long range curler into the Soham net to make it 4. Soham did get a late consolation through Mason but it was to little to late for the home side.
