After a good performance against Halesowen the week before The Greenbacks went into this feeling optimistic that they could get a result.
Bedworth started well with the majority of possession but could not turn that possession into any meaningful chances. Hinckley then started to come into the game and had the best 2 chances of the half when Lomax parried a cross come shot from Liam Read out it fell to the feet of Jordan Burrows who blasted over from the penalty spot. Read again had a chance to open the scoring when he cut in from the right and hit a shot from the edge of the box which looked like it was heading goal-bound till Lomax acrobatically tipped it over.

The second half started with a little bit more needle in the game after some handbags as the teams went in at halftime. It was Hinckley though who had the best opportunity when Jordan Burrows rose highest from a cross but his header went just wide of Sam Lomax left hand post with the keeper rooted to the spot. The Greenbacks had an appeal for a penalty when Parrott was bundled down in the box but the referee waved play on and Hinckley broke but Moore did well to block the shot as Bedworth were caught 4 on 2. It was Hinckley though who got the decisive goal when a ball from Simon Alcott split the Bedworth defence and Liam read was on hand to fire the ball past Lomax to give Hinckley the lead with 10 minutes to play. Bedworth could have got an equaliser late on when Nesbitt and Dunkley combined and the ball fell to Murphy on the penalty spot but unfortunately the youngsters shot was high and the chance went begging. Hinckley then played the game out looking for the corners and the game ended in a reversal of the scoreline from earlier in the season.
