New U21’s Manager Appointed

Bedworth Utd FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Dainty as new u21s Manager for the 2024-25 season. Dave will take charge of the team on Saturday, when they report for pre-season training along with the 1st team, and the youngsters will complete their first 3 pre-season sessions shadowing the 1st team.

The vastly experienced Dainty had this to say about joining one of the Greenbacks senior teams as manager… “Having met with Stuart and Jamie it was clear we all had the same vision as to what the 21s are all about. There is a clear pathway to the first team, at Bedworth, and if the lads buy into the process and are patient, it’s a great opportunity for them to transition from the academy through the18s and 21s and into the first team, if they’re prepared to put the hard work in. Personally I like nothing better than seeing lads develop and go on to get something out of the game. The club have provided excellent facilities to give the lads a platform to play and perform, the rest is up to them and between the coaches and managers, all we hope to do is help to support and guide them to achieve their dreams”

Dave’s previous clubs include Bilston Town. Coleshill Town U21s, GNPSports, CoventrySphinx, Chelmsley Town and Heather St John’s.

Dainty’s son Gio Dainty has played over 300 games in non league and is no stranger to Bedworth Utd, having played numerous times against the Greenbacks in particular for Coleshill Town.

Welcome Dave, it’s great to have you on board with us.
