Dunstable v BEDWORTH UNITED preview

The Greenbacks after 11 days off are back in action on Saturday away against 5th placed AFC Dunstable.  Dunstable have had a good start to the season seeing them gain 9 points from a possible 12 with their only loss coming last time out against Corby, losing 2-0 to 2 Stephen Diggin penalties either side of half time that was preceded by wins against Barton Rovers, Didcot and Biggleswade. Last season Dunstable finished 10th with a points tally of 55 and record of  16 wins 7 draws and 15 losses

Stuart Storer has a fully fit squad to choose from with new signings Dan Preston and Blaize Punter also available (subject to league Confirmation).  The Greenbacks will be looking to build on their last away game at Thame and get some more points on the board early.  Catching up with the coaching staff earlier they are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things after such a long break and have been training the lads hard ready to push forward, after a difficult start to the season with the fixtures not helping, having been drawn against the other two relegated sides and the losing playoff finalists from the season before in the first 5 games the start couldn’t have been more difficult.

The Greenbacks will now be looking to get a good run of results going and climb up the table.
