Bromsgrove Sporting v BEDWORTH UNITED Preview (League Cup)

Bedworth travel the short distance to start their league cup campaign with a 33 mile trip up the M6 and M42 to face Premier League Central opponents Bromsgrove Sporting a team we swapped leagues with last season.

Bromsgroves form has been much the same as ours this season with 2 wins 3 draws and 3 Losses from their 8 games which sees them sitting 16th in their division.  Bromsgrove will be looking for a win tonight as they have failed to win in their previous 5 games picking up just one point in that time with a home draw against Rushell Olympic.  Bromsgrove will be the favourites to progress going into this game due to league status but saying that in a cup game it is always 11 v 11 and anything can happen.

Bedworth go into this game on the back of an impressive 4-0 win against Wantage and will be looking to build on that success to kick start the season and to push on.  It will be a return to old pastures for a few of the Bedworth lads with Dan Crane, Dan Preston and Ashanti Pryce all once plying their trade for Bromsgrove.

In the event of tonight’s game being drawn after 90 minutes the tie will be straight to penalties.
