Bedworth United v Didcot Town

Bedworth welcome Didcot Town to The OVAL on Saturday, Didcot sit 3 places below the Greenbacks in the league and have the 3rd worst goal out of everyone of -10 having conceded 18 and only scored 8.  Didcots last outing in the league was at home to Daventry Town where they were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline they followed that up with a narrow 1-0 victory against Thame United in the league challenge cup but then went on to lose 2-0 to Larkhill Athletic from Division 1 South in last weeks FA Trophy preliminary round.

Bedworth are coming into the game on the back of a good run of results having picked up 7 points in their last 3 league games with wins against Wantage and Kidlington and a hard fought draw away to Welwyn Garden City in this run they have also progressed in the FA trophy after a good win against a solid Ilkeston side which has rewarded them with an away tie against Premier side Biggleswade.  Bedworth go into the game with a fully fit squad that is gaining confidence by the game.  A win today (other results dependant) could lift the Greenbacks within touching distance of a playoff spot.  With the team now finding its feet and starting to gel and some of the more difficult fixtures out the way Bedworth will be looking to further build on their recent success and again give the loyal Greenback supporters something to cheer about.
