Bedworth were smarting from the defeat the week before and came into this match with a hangover from that result. Bedworth started well when on 16 minutes Luke Allsopp netted from a shot just on the edge of the box which found the corner of the Solihull net. The rest of the first half was a very cagey affair with neither team really being able to stamp their authority on the game. Bedworth rode their luck at times being thankful that Solihull had forgotten their shooting boots. Bedworth went in at half time 1-0 up but on the balance of play they were lucky to be leading.
Solihull came out in the second half determined to get the equaliser and to possibly go on to win the game but until the hour point Bedworth had defended well and it looked like they would keep their second clean sheet of the season. Until a wayward back pass to Harrison in the Bedworth goal was pounced upon by the Solihull centre forward who rounded Harrison to put into the empty net with time ticking away it looked like the game was heading for a draw until Nash Asquith pounced on a through ball to lift the ball over the Solihull keepers head to give Bedworth the win with the last kick of the game.
