Bedworth United MJPL U15 v Allscott U15

First MJPL Home Game

After not having the start to life in the MJPL the U15s wanted they have been handed a second game against Allscott.  Allscott finished 46th in the MJPL last year with a record of 6 wins 5 draws and 11 loses gaining 23 points.  With 2 tough games to follow, this is a game that we are looking to get points out of.  With a full squad to choose from, apart from our long term injuries, plus the additions of recent signings Travis Lane and Luke Alsop we go into this game fully prepared. After the start to last weeks game the lads know that they cant rest on their laurels and start slowly as they will be down and out before the game has even got going.

If we bring our second half performance into this game and the attitude that was shown in the second half then we shouldn’t fear anyone.  Back on home turf at The OVAL for the first time in the MJPL we will be looking for a disciplined performance from everyone of the lads we have to make sure that we play our football and don’t turn the game into a scrap but use the surface and the size of the pitch to our advantage.

Allscott started their campaign with a 3-2 home win against Wyrley Juniors who finished 14th last season so you cant really take much notice of last years league positions.  If the boys in green can play to their full potential then we have no doubts that they can compete with any team in this league.
