Addition to Back Room Staff – Robbie Brannan

After several successful years at the club covering the u21’s and Managing the 18’s, Robbie has won both respective leagues.

He has gained his Uefa B licence and recently took on a role as QPR regional scout.

He will be a great addition to the first team back room staff.

Robbie will still be in charge of the 18’s to help develop the youth and have a clear link with the first team.

Robbie commented on addition to the first team backroom staff and this season….

The past three seasons have been great for me at Bedworth Utd and I’ve loved working with the U21’s, Reserves and then this season taking on the role as manager of the U18’s which has resulted in 3 x league titles on the bounce:

21/22 – U21 MFL Champions

22/23 – Reserve MFL Champions

23/24 – MFYL (U18’s) Premier Division South Champions

However more importantly, a lot of my players have represented the first team at Step 4, which is the ultimate aim.

I wanted the challenge of rebuilding the U18’s and also developing a pathway for the players to progress through to the First Team and we achieved that by working together as a club and are now reaping the rewards!

Proud is an understatement and for the boys to go from bottom of the league to champions in one season is my proudest moment in football so far. All credit goes to the players who 100% bought into our philosophy of how we wanted to play but more importantly, how we conduct ourselves at training and on match day.

The togetherness and positivity displayed throughout the season was first class!

To be promoted to the first team backroom staff is great. I’m look forward to continuing my journey with the club and can’t wait to work with Stu, Lents and Andy with the first team lads.
