LAST TIME WE MET | BASFORD UNITED
As we prepare to face Basford United in the FA Trophy, we take a look back at the previous meetings between the two sides.
The most recent encounter came at Greenwich Avenue on 10 February 2026, when the Greenbacks produced an excellent away performance to come away with a 1–0 victory. A clean sheet and a crucial goal secured all three points for Bedworth in what was a closely fought NPL Midlands Division contest.
That result followed another meeting earlier in the season, when Basford travelled to Bedworth on 16 September 2025 and edged a tight contest 1–0, with the visitors finding the only goal of the game.
Looking further back, the sides have shared some entertaining encounters. On 13 January 2018, Bedworth and Basford played out a 1–1 draw, while the previous meeting at Greenwich Avenue saw Basford take a 2–0 victory on 21 October 2017.
The two clubs also produced two high-scoring draws during the 2016/17 campaign. A 2–2 draw at Bedworth in March 2017 was followed by an entertaining 3–3 draw at Basford in January.

The head-to-head record makes for interesting reading, with Bedworth unbeaten in the last meeting at Greenwich Avenue, and the previous six encounters producing two wins for Basford, one for Bedworth and three draws.
With the FA Trophy now providing the stage, the Greenbacks will be hoping to add another positive result to the history between these two sides.
