We’re delighted to announce that Mackenzie Lamb has agreed terms to remain with the club for the 2026/27 season.
‘Macca’ was a regular in the starting XI last season until a hamstring injury in November saw him sidelined for several months. He made his return to the squad in March and will be hoping for a fully fit campaign this time around.
The versatile Lamb can operate in a number of positions, including midfield, right-back and centre-back, giving managers Jamie Lenton and Andy Penny another valuable option within the squad.
Mackenzie started his career at West Bromwich Albion before signing a professional contract with Peterborough United. He has since enjoyed spells with Alvechurch and Evesham United and is also a former Scotland youth international.
Away from football, Macca is a qualified barber and has become the go-to man for several of his teammates — with Charlie Gordon among his most regular customers! 💈✂️
Jamie Lenton and Andy Penny are delighted to have secured the services of such a versatile player and are looking forward to seeing Macca back to his best in 2026/27.
Welcome back, Macca! 🟢⚽
