Bedworth United FC are delighted to announce the signing of Charlie Lenton
Joint manager Andy Penny said
“We are delighted to have Charlie Lenton on board with the first team again this season. His development and growth over the last 12 months has been exceptional.
I would say so far this pre-season Charlie has been one of the outstanding players with his contribution of scoring two goals, and his strength and intelligence on and off the ball is clear to see that Charlie could potentially have a really bright future in this game, and I believe that he will be a big asset for this football club too.
Don’t get me wrong, Charlie still isn’t the finish article, and he still has a lot to learn, but I know he will become something really special if he keeps his focus and he continues to be dedicated to the game the way he is doing so far.
The important role for the first team management and the coaching staff is to keep Charlie grounded, hungry, learn new strategies to his game, and eventually give him the opportunity that he deserves.
It just shows the strength of the Bedworth Academy, and we hope more players come through within the near future.”
