Bedworth United FC are delighted to announce the signing of much‑sought‑after striker Alex McSkeane, a player who has been firmly on our radar for several seasons.
Alex arrives at The Oval with a strong reputation for pace, aggression and direct attacking play. Still young but already highly experienced at this level, he brings versatility across multiple forward positions — giving the Greenbacks valuable options going into the new campaign.
Manager Reaction
Joint First Team Manager Jamie Lenton shared his thoughts after securing the signing:
“We’re really excited to sign Alex and we’re looking forward to the impact he’s going to make. We’ve attempted to sign Alex a number of times over the last few seasons so we’re thrilled to finally get him on board at The Oval. For someone who is still quite young, he’s very experienced at our level. He’s very quick, aggressive and very direct. He can operate in a number of attacking positions which gives us options.”
Welcome to Bedworth United, Alex
We’re thrilled to finally bring Alex to the club — welcome to the Greenbacks.
