FANS FAVOURITE RETURNS TO THE OVAL!
Bedworth United FC are delighted to announce the return of fan favourite Sam Lomax to The Oval ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Sam returns to the Greenbacks bringing quality, experience and a strong connection with the club and its supporters. Having previously impressed in a Bedworth United shirt, he has established himself as a popular figure amongst the fans and everyone at the club is thrilled to welcome him back.
The goalkeeper boasts an impressive footballing CV, having previously been on the books at Barnsley FC and Aston Villa FC, while also representing Stratford Town FC, Rugby Town FC, Racing Club Warwick FC and Rugby Borough FC during his career.
After an injury-hit campaign last season, Sam is eager to get back to full fitness, rediscover his best form and play a key role for the Greenbacks in the season ahead.

He suffered a few injury setbacks last season so he’s looking to get back to a level of consistency where he can get back to his best. Welcome back Sam.”
