Bedworth United FC are delighted to confirm our second New signing ahead of the 2026–2027 season — central defender Josh Willis, one of the most sought‑after defenders in the region.
Josh joins the Greenbacks from Racing Club Warwick, bringing proven Step 4 experience, physical presence, and the versatility to operate in multiple positions down the spine of the team.
Joint First‑Team Manager Jamie Lenton on Josh:
“I’m really happy to get Josh on board. We’ve tried to sign him a few times over the last few seasons, and now that we’ve finally secured him, we’re really pleased.
He can operate in a number of positions down the spine of the team and will pose a major threat on set pieces.
He brings a wealth of experience and physicality, as well as key leadership skills that are so rare at this level of football.
He’s a local lad and will fit in perfectly with what we’re trying to build here.”
