Bedworth United FC are delighted to confirm that fans’ favourite Calum Flanagan has committed to the Greenbacks for the 2026–2027 campaign.
Calum played a massive role in helping the club secure survival last season. After a strong first spell with the Greenbacks, he departed to join Alfreton Town as a player‑coach, before returning just six weeks later — a moment that coincided with a superb second half of the season for the team. His return brought leadership, stability, and experience at a crucial time, and he was a major factor in the club’s turnaround.
A true leader on and off the pitch, Calum’s ability to read the game, guide younger players, and bring calmness to key moments makes him one of the squad’s most influential figures. His presence around the club — both in the dressing room and on the training ground — is invaluable.
Calum was awarded the Managers Player of the year last season 2025-2026 season. We look forward to another season with the big character, the leader, and the fans’ favourite remaining a Greenback
