Joe Anthony is the next player we’d like to announce for the 2025-26 season as the defender joins from Coventry Copsewood.
Joe played in Coventry City’s Academy set-up before spending two years at Kidderminster Harriers. Manager Jamie Lenton is delighted to have secured the services of the tough tackling defender and is expecting his transition into Step 4 football to be a smooth one.
“Joe is another player we’ve closely monitored over the last 12 months, and has the potential to establish himself as a 1st team regular at Bedworth United this season.
Joe can play anywhere across the back 4, he’s a strong defender and very good technically. Joe is 22, and another local lad we’ve recruited, so we’re continuing to build a squad of very good, young, local players”
Welcome to the Greenbacks Joe!
